Fitness is simple! Stay consistent, work smarter not harder, and listen to your body. I will help you adopt a four pronged approach to your physical fitness. Together we will optimize nutrition, strength, flexibility and cardio vascular training. Your goals will determine how we make these four factors work together as one unit to achieve them.

Nutrition is the key to reaching your fitness goals. I will help you plan meals to fuel your body during workouts and to give you proper nutrition throughout your day. We will follow the 80/20 principle. Eighty percent of the time throughout the year, you’re going to eat properly and workout. The other twenty percent is allotted for family, fun and special events.

When you build a house you start with a strong foundation. Building a strong healthy body is no different. I will help you build a strong fitness foundation by making targeted leg and core workouts the foundation of your strength training.

Strength is important but you have to lengthen a muscle before you strengthen it. I will help you lengthen your muscles by guiding you through simple and effective stretching exercises. This will help your posture, reduce soreness, reduce the risk of injury and make you feel good.

Strength training and stretching build muscle but you need a good cardio plan to reduce body fat. The key to a good plan is to vary the exercise, distance, speed and tempo. I will develop a cardio plan for you that will be both beneficial and fun.
